# Team and roles

> Invite people to your organization and choose what they can do.

Everything in the dashboard belongs to an **organization**. You can be a member of several and
switch between them in **Settings → Organization**.

## Roles

| Role   | Can do                                                        |
| ------ | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Owner  | Everything, including deleting the organization               |
| Admin  | Manage the team, billing and API keys                         |
| Member | Day-to-day work on projects                                   |

An owner changes someone's role from the member list. Ownership itself moves only with
**Transfer ownership**, so an organization always has exactly one person who can delete it.

## Invitations and seats

An invitation link works for 7 days. **Resend** emails the same link again and restarts the 7 days.
Your plan sets how many people the organization can have; a pending invitation holds a seat until it
is accepted, revoked or expires. When every seat is taken, upgrade the plan or revoke an invitation.

## Audit log

Owners and admins see who changed what in **Settings → Organization → Audit log**.

## Leaving and deleting

You can leave an organization at any time, unless you're its only owner: transfer ownership first.
Deleting an organization cancels its subscription and deletes everything in it.
